The compact heat exchangers are made out of a pair of parallel plates that connects the metal members along the plates. The bonded members and as well as the plate arrangements grant seamless fluid flow and it is extended across the surface. It is examined that, when the plane is drawn over the mid way amidst the 2 plates which every half of the members will have a longitudinal fins. The compact heat exchangers could be differentiated with the compact elements it has. Generally, the compact elements are categorized into 5 distinct classes and they are: Tubular surfaces, circular and flattened circular tubes, plate fin surfaces and surfaces designed with normal flow having the smooth tubes within. The compact heat exchangers involve an extensive application range and they are: cryogenic air separation, natural gas liquefaction, ammonia production, nuclear engineering, offshore processing and Syngas production. Complementing its title, the heat exchanger remains compact in its structure and perhaps grants an easy installation.
